LISA
When Lisa first came to see me, she was dealing with issues that had begun to impact her confidence, motivation, and ability to stay consistent with her health & fitness. Like many people, she knew what she should be doing, but actually following through felt difficult and overwhelming, especially on the days when pain, frustration or low motivation took over, which is a very common situation for busy professional people. Progress often is about having the right support, guidance, and accountability to get going and then to keep moving forward. Our focus with Lisa was based on building trust and creating a positive environment where she felt encouraged. I then built her a plan to develop the consistency needed to achieve long-term results. Every session is tailored to her, and what she needs as well as where she is mentally on that day. Over time, this has compounded and she’s stay engaged, confident and committed to the process, knowing she had the right support behind her.
Well done Lisa, Im proud of what you’ve been able to achieve ❤️
LISA
Lisa came to see me following a significant accident in which she was thrown from her horse and sustained multiple spinal fractures. As someone who works with horses full-time, this wasn’t just an injury - it was a major threat to her livelihood, independence, and confidence. Initially, she felt frustrated and unsure where to turn, having received very little direction from the NHS around how to properly approach her rehabilitation. She was in pain, had reduced mobility, and understandably developed anxiety around movement and exercise. For someone used to being active and capable, this was a huge problem. We started by slowly by guiding her back into pain-free movement through everyday activities. From there, we progressively built her up, focusing on restoring basic strength and, just as importantly, rebuilding confidence in her body. As she improved, we transitioned into a more structured plan of rehabilitation, developing strength, stability, control and the specific physical capacity required for working with horses. Every stage was carefully progressed to ensure she felt safe, supported, and in control, while steadily becoming stronger, more robust, and more resilient. Through consistent hard work, Lisa has made outstanding progress - moving from injury and uncertainty to a level of fitness and strength that would impress by any standard. In her own words, she is now in the ‘best physical shape she has been in for a very long time’.
Well done Lisa i’m proud of you ❤️
